When soccer (or really any sport) is your children’s lives, it becomes your life, and life seems to move around the sport.
Laundry loads are based around what jersey needs washed for tomorrow’s game.
Meal planning is essential, and the crockpot is a permanent fixture in the counter.
Soccer bags, muddy cleats, sweaty socks, and shin guards are tripped over every day.
Homework is always a cram session, (and yet they still have all a’s and b’s).
There is no planning ahead…it is just living day by day.
The house is a mess, the dishes are done when we run out of spoons.
YET….THIS IS WHY WE DO IT!
